Landgut Stober – The place that makes an impact: A past that moves. A tangible history becomes a living future.

There are places that provide space. And there are places that provide direction. That inspire. That move something within us. Landgut Stober is one of those places: not polished, not interchangeable, not artificially designed for effect. Instead, it is grounded, steeped in history and rich in atmosphere – a place with character.

A hotel. An event venue. A world of its own.

With 300 individually designed hotel rooms (430 beds) and 30 distinctive function rooms, Landgut Stober is the largest privately run hotel and event destination in the Berlin region. Not just a place for meetings – but a place to arrive. To stay. To make an impact.

Where history remains alive – and the future becomes tangible

More than 150 years ago, the estate was a creative centre for visionary industrial pioneers.

Around 80 years ago, it was a protected space for the courageous members of the Kreisau Circle – filled with hope and resilience.

Today, it is an inspiring meeting place for decision-makers, changemakers, leadership teams and networks seeking clarity, depth and lasting impact.

This place has never been arbitrary. It was – and remains – a stage for values, responsibility and economic activity that considers both people and nature.

A functioning microcosm – well considered, independent, consistent

Landgut Stober rethinks the event venue: not as a service provider, but as a coherent system in its own right. Event planning, hotel operations, cuisine, maintenance and communications – all managed by our own team.
  • Independent of third parties
  • Family-run from the very beginning
  • Long-term orientation

A place with clear values, a high degree of personal responsibility and tangible impact – for guests, employees and events with substance.

  • 30 distinctive function rooms – history within the walls and space for new perspectives
  • 30 individual function rooms – authentic, many with grounding views into the distance
  • Listed historic architecture – telling stories, rich in detail, meaningful and mostly accessible
  • Meeting spaces ranging from 27 to 597 m² – flexible, open and inspiring
  • Indoor capacity for up to 750 guests, outdoor events for up to 4,000 people
  • Highlight: Salon August – vehicle-accessible, impressive and ideal for powerful productions

Outside, a sense of space unfolds – and clarity becomes tangible

  • Directly on Lake Groß Behnitz – fed by seven springs
  • Surrounded by a protected natural paradise in the Westhavelland Nature Park
  • The cleanest, freshest air in the Berlin region – filtered by quiet forests
  • An extensive historic park with ancient plane trees – strong, steadfast and symbolic
  • 12,000 m² of versatile outdoor space: tent villages for retreats, quiet meadows for mindfulness, a historic courtyard for encounters and access to the lake for a change of perspective

Here, nature is not a decorative element – but part of the architecture of thought. Here, people do not just think – they experience, feel and create movement.

Sustainability? Radical. Real. Consistent.

At Landgut Stober, sustainability is not a label – it is a fundamental principle:
  • Energy savings through smart photovoltaic systems and our own wood-chip heating system
  • 400 m³ of rainwater storage supplying 363 toilets – reducing fresh water consumption
  • Outstanding ECOnGood score of 768 points – certified, externally audited and measurable
  • Winner of the European Green Hotelier Award in 2017 & winner of the European Green Award in 2021
  • Sustainable Berlin LEADER certification according to the strict international GSTC standard
  • Common-good-oriented business practices:
    • 20% of profits go to charitable, meaningful projects
    • 20% go to our dedicated team – for fair wages and social security
    • 40% are reinvested with a focus on the future – in maintenance, preservation and further development
    • 10% go towards reliable debt repayment – for economic stability
    • Rest that grounds you – hotel rooms that invite you in – comfort that inspires

300 individually designed rooms, 430 beds – quiet, natural and unique

  • COCO-MAT natural beds, rooms designed to reduce electromagnetic exposure
  • Organic bed linen (GOTS & OEKO-TEX), carpets made from corn fibres, with a preference for renewable raw materials such as natural wood flooring, natural rubber, seagrass and coconut
  • Fresh and delicious organic breakfast (Bioland)

Here, you do not simply sleep and work – you find calm, move forward and connect.

Well located. And even better once you arrive.
  • Just 72 kilometres from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) – in the heart of the Havelland near Berlin, yet feeling like another world
  • Conveniently by train to Nauen – then continue by bus or taxi
  • 150 complimentary parking spaces directly on site
  • High-speed Wi-Fi – and an even faster connection to the right ideas

Landgut Stober – The place for meetings that make an impact

Whether a strategy offsite, cultural transformation, client event, leadership development or a forum for economic activity centred on people and nature:

Landgut Stober is more than an event venue.

It is a space for resonance – for people who take responsibility.

A place that inspires.

A place that slows things down.

A place that helps you move forward.
